Donations & Giving
Disciples of Jesus Christ are stewards of God's gifts. It really is a way of life, having an impact on how we live and what we think is important in life. Stewardship begins with understanding that everything we have is given to us by our generous God.

God gives each of us financial resources and special talents to use to carry out His mission in the world.

All gifts are important to building up the Body of Christ and furthering the ministry of Jesus Christ. The Bible says, "As each has received a gift, employ it for one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace" 1 Peter 4:10.

And, "God loves a cheerful giver" 2 Corinthian 9:7

A challenge for our discipleship is to practice the biblical principal of tithing. Its roots are found in the Old Testament where the guideline for giving was 10% of one's income or property. Stewardship is an important part of what it means to be a disciple.

A Christian steward is responsible for taking care of and managing the abundance that God has given to us. We serve God out of love and gratitude for His gifts for us knowing that it is not how much we have, but what we do with it that is important.
