First Meeting

5-7^th graders will meet in the youth room from 4:45pm-6:15pm on Wednesdays.

 Yes, the name has changed from “DIG,” to “BIG!” 

We will still have lots of fun doing games, learning about Jesus and eating pizza, but we are trying a new format.  BIG will be organized into sessions that kids will need to register for in advance.  Lisa & Larry Hawe will lead this program together.  On September 15^th from 4:45-6:15pm, we will have an open house for kids to come and see what BIG will be like this year.  All are welcome!  Parents are encouraged to join us at 6pm for registration information.

The first BIG session will be 8 weeks long from September 22^nd-November 17^th, (no BIG the Wed. before MEA.)  The cost of this session is $35.00, which covers suppers.  (Confidential financial assistance is available by asking Lisa Hawe.) 

I hope that this new format will help us be able to plan appropriately for the number of kids participating.

Sunday, September 26

8:45am and 11:00 am worship services, youth will lead music, drama, children’s message, readings and ushering. 

Anyone in grades 8-12 is welcome to participate.

FIRE is for youth in grades 10-12 will meet in the youth room on Wednesdays during the school year from 7-8pm.  The format will be lots of discussion, tackling tough questions, deepening relationships and growing together as Christians.  Our first meeting will be September 15^th.
